Carnival Splendor Debuts in 2008 - a new class of ship!

She's the newest, largest and most spectacular ship we've ever built. Enormous in scope, inventive in design and generous in amenities, she offers guests countless onboard innovations, including:

Cloud 9 Spa, our largest spa ever with a variety of private spa-access staterooms with special amenities.
Serenity, an adult only outdoor retreat.
Sliding Sky Dome, which completely covers the main pool area, including Carnival's Seaside Theatre.

What a ship. And what a choice of itineraries:

In Europe, she will offer 12 day cruises from London to Northern Europe starting July 2008.
Then she wil host 12 day Grand Mediterranean, Greece & Turkey cruises from Rome starting September 23, 2008.
After an Atlantic-crossing cruise, she will host 7 day Exotic Eastern Caribbean cruises from Ft. Lauderdale starting November 28, 2008
In January 2009, she offers another carnival first: a three-cruise adventure completely around South America from Ft. Lauderdale to San Francisco.
After all of those fabulous adventures, she'll make her home port in L.A. to offer 7 day Mexican Riviera cruises starting March 29, 2009.

We're making some pretty exciting moves in 2008-2009.

From Jacksonville, Carnival Fascination will take over the 4 & 5 day cruises for Celebration starting September 20, 2008. Itineraries include new 5 day Saturday cruises to Half Moon Cay and Nassau.

From Miami, Carnival Imagination will take over the 3 & 4 day cruises for Carnival Fascination starting September 22, 2008. Carnival Destiny will move to Miami to offer 4 & 5 day cruises for Carnival Imagination starting September 27, 2008. This is historic for Carnival because the majority of ocean-view accomodations on Carnival Destiny are private-balcony staterooms - a first for our less-than-a-week cruises. Carnival Pride will offer new 7 day Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Miami. This exciting event also gives you a chance to experience a 14 day Panama Canal vacation from Los Angeles to Miami.

From San Juan, Carnival Victory will be taking over the 7 day / 6 destination Southern Caribbean cruises for Carnival Destiny starting November 2, 2008.
